About Me
Hello, my name is Ai Kunimoto. I am a London-based permanent makeup artist and the owner of Arch in London, an art makeup salon. Born and raised in Osaka, I began my career as a makeup artist for Bobbi Brown. In 2007, I moved to the UK, and after getting married and raising three boys, I decided to pursue my long-held dream of helping people feel beautiful once again.
I discovered the world of permanent makeup while pregnant with my youngest son, marking the beginning of my second journey in the beauty industry. Since then, I have honed my skills and earned numerous accolades at prestigious permanent makeup competitions across the UK and Europe. In 2022, I was nominated as one of the top three artists in the Hair Stroke category at the UK PMU Conference and secured 3rd place in the Hair Stroke category at WULOP (The World Universal League of Permanent Makeup) UK.
In 2023, my signature brow technique, "SHUJI BROWS," gained significant recognition, leading to invitations as a speaker at international events. This original technique, inspired by Japanese calligraphy, focuses on creating natural beauty with a harmonious and graceful approach.
Starting in 2024, I am also serving as the organizer of WULOP JAPAN, aiming to bring fresh innovations to the Japanese permanent makeup industry. Additionally, I work as an instructor at permanent makeup schools, primarily in the UK and Japan, where I dedicate myself to training and nurturing the next generation of artists. As a speaker at various international PMU events, I continue to share my techniques and vision with the global community.
SHUJI BROWS
An original technique inspired by Japanese calligraphy, "SHUJI BROWS" combines the fluid and harmonious movements of water to create the most natural and elegant hair-stroke eyebrows. With a background as a makeup artist, my approach emphasizes balance and sophistication, earning acclaim from clients worldwide.

About Me
はじめまして、国本愛（Ai Kunimoto）と申します。私はロンドン在住のアートメイクアーティストであり、アートメイクサロン「アーチインクロンドン」のオーナーです。大阪で生まれ育ち、かつてはボビーブラウンのメイクアップアーティストとして活動していました。その後、2007年にイギリスへ渡り、結婚と3人の男の子の育児を経て、長年の夢であった「人を美しくする」仕事を再び追求することを決意しました。
妊娠中にアートメイクの世界に飛び込み、以降、自身の技術を磨き続けています。イギリスやヨーロッパで開催される数々のアートメイク大会での受賞歴があり、2022年にはイギリス PMU カンファレンスでヘアストローク部門のトップ3にノミネートされました。また、WULOP（The World Universal League Of Permanent Makeup）イギリス大会で3位を獲得し、さらに注目を集めることとなりました。
2023年には、オリジナルシグネチャー技法「SHUJI BROWS」が高く評価され、国際的なイベントでスピーカーとして招待される機会を得ました。この技法は日本の書道にインスパイアされたオリジナルの技法で、調和と自然美を重視した独自のアプローチです。
2024年からは、WULOP JAPANのオーガナイザーとして、日本のアートメイク業界に新しい風を吹き込む活動にも注力しています。また、アートメイクスクールの講師として、主にイギリスと日本を拠点に技術指導を行い、次世代のアーティストの育成にも力を注いでいます。さまざまな国際PMUイベントでスピーカーとして登壇し、アートメイクの技術とビジョンを共有し続けています。
